物語 Story

CIPs has started with one figure drawn by high school students.

In 2001, I drafted a patent application document on volunteer basis for an invention of a wheelbarrow which four high school students had worked on. Since their idea was essentially unique, the patent application patent was granted on 2005 (Patent No. 3709456). The wheelbarrow has been commercialized with the cooperation with the teachers and local company.  It has been developed based on the strong motivation of the students, in order to reduce a workload for farmers, and thus, it was appropriately named "HA TA RA~KU” (double meanings of 'working' and 'comfortable farming'). In this story, the thought for themselves and embodied their idea in a practical way.  Through this process, they have proven that even youngsters can make a contribution to our society.
